This comprehensive course is designed in such a way that will help students prepare and pass the FR 111 – Fundamentals of Financial Accounting exam for the CMA Sep 2025 exam session. This comprehensive course provides a fundamental understanding of financial accounting principles and practices. It covers essential topics such as accounting concepts, regulatory frameworks, and the stages of an Accounting Information System (AIS). Students will learn about the accounting treatment of current and non-current assets, different business types, and the preparation and interpretation of financial statements. Additionally, the course includes financial ratio analysis and the process of identifying and rectifying accounting errors.

Chapters A1-A3: Accounting and its Environment, Conceptual Framework of Financial Accounting, Regulatory Framework of Financial Accounting

Chapters B1-B4: Accounting Information System (AIS), Input, processing, adjusting records, output, and accounts closing stages.

Chapters C1-C2: Accounting for Current and Non-Current Assets

Chapter D1: Accounting for Different Business Types

Throughout the course, there will be revision sessions and practice exercises to reinforce learning and help you excel in the CMA exam. Finally, there will be two 100 marks tests to be taken online.
